I travel all over the America and this was one of the must pleasent vist I have experienced with LaQuinta. The staff was very courteous and went out of their way to make you feel at home. I will place this location on my favorite list when returning to this area.

This hottel is clean, decorated nice, and the service is great. A big draw for me for LaQuinta is how they welcome pets. I always stay in the back of the hotel since there is plenty of room for them to do their business and walk them. Busch Agdens is across the street and there are plenty of nice restaurants nearby. Luxury for less.

Literally right across the street from Busch Gardens, lots of restaurants in the area. But this place was pretty disgusting. We got a smoking room, went to change it and was told they did not have any non smoking rooms available. The smoking room was horrible, the scent, the sheets, the carpet. Everything just looked really dirty. Looked like there was a blood stain on the carpet. The sheets did not look completely clean. It was really cheap and we did get what we paid for. I would have rather paid a little more to stay someplace cleaner.

After staying at a wonderful La Quinta in Jacksonville, the one in Tampa was disgusting. We walked on the carpet in our room with our bare feet and after a few minutes our soles of our feet were black. There was dried up dog poop under the sink area. The hostess in the breakfast room dropped trash cans whenever she emptied them and then gave everyone the evil eye. Our friends in the next room had the same problems except they were fourtunate enough to have a fridge and microwave. Of course, we paid the same price. Tried to talk to the manager "Daniel" but would not return our call.
