We rented room 310 for a few nights while visiting the Tampa and Clearwater areas. This room was great for the seven of us (2 adults, 5 children 12-10-6-5-3). There was a king bed on the second floor of the condo-like room, and two double beds on the first floor. The beds were really squishy and hard to get out of in the morning. FULL kitchen WITH dishwasher and ICEMAKER in the fridge. The living area was basic. Yes, the appliances are old Hotpoints, but you know what, they WORK and they work WELL. Bathrooms were clean and worked fine. I am not sure why some reviewers here have downgraded this hotel based on bugs or old appliances. I didn't see a single bug. I saw two little lizards and my kids were happy to chase and catch them and play with them until they fainted from so much excitement. Grow up, the world is full of bugs and sometimes they might touch you (*gasp*). I checked the beds, no bedbugs. I checked the room, no roaches or anything. Sorry, but I can't verify the bug claims because there weren't any. Not even by the pool, which, while kinda small, was the best pool of our vacation so far, clear water, didn't smell bad, felt great, and was close to the laundry and office areas so we could get towels and such. Checking in and out was easy. The breakfast was fine, they had cereal, oatmeal, granola, bananas, apples, waffles, muffins, bagels, toast, orange and cranberry juice, coffee, teas, peanut butter, cream cheese, jellies and jams, cinnamon rolls, and fruit cocktail (with huge peach halves added in). Parking is tight and the breakfast area was very busy during our stay (but that's our fault for waiting until 900-930 to eat). The location is very close to the airport and the Whiskey Joe's restaurant about a half mile away was really something and had free valet parking. Can't beat this place for short OR long stays and we WILL be back! As far as value, we spent an average of $112 per night because of a stay two nights, get one free promotion. Total charges including taxes for the 3 nights came to $378 and that was for our family of seven! EXCELLENT value!
310 was a two-level room with two doubles below AND a king bed above plus the sofabed in the living...
