“Overpriced”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2012 via mobile

I live in the area and have been to this zoo 2x in the 4 years that I've lived here. Admission is wag overpriced. Its not like they are Walt Disney World, etc.

Would not recommend this to anyone that I know that enjoys going to a zoo. This zoo could learn a few things by visiting the NC Zoological Park in Asheboro, NC (one of them being cheaper admission).

“Fun Zoo”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2012

Everything is great, but it's difficult for little ones in strollers to see the animals. The exhibit walls are very high.

“Blah”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2012

A normal zoo. I was disappointed that there wasn't a polar bear or lions and tigers. Also, this zoo has rides, which I feel really takes away from the animals. Once the kids see these rides that is all that they want to do.

“Wish we would have never gone there, don't waste your money.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2012

1st: I bought a drink, Extra large for my fiance and I. At first it was the wrong drink so we had to ask for the right one - then we were told that they don't have any tops (plastic cup covers) or straws! Something blew into our cup. Who would have imagined that could happen on a windy day at a zoo!?
2nd: Multiple (Over 10) exhibits were empty or contained a chicken or rooster only. Need I say more?
3rd: The Florida exhibit was closed. About half of the animals that are big and interesting were off limits... Wish we would have never gone there, don't waste your money.
