“Had fun”

Nice place, very clean and lay out of walking through was nice. A little disappointed - it was small. Glad I used a coupon, wouldn't have paid full price plus pay for parking.

“A Fun Day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

We visited the Florida Aquarium for the first time this week and had a great day. It had a great layout and tons of great things to see. You can touch Sting Rays, Horseshoe Crabs, Starfish, anemones, etc. Even the food in their Rays Cafe is good. I look forward to going back land diving in their Shark Tank.

“Beautiful, nice visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2013

The Florida Aquarium is a reasonably sized aquarium where you can whatch several species of animals: sharks, alligators, snakes, penguins...
Several parts are interactive, so you can enjoy and learn at the same time.
Of course, the part of the sharks is the most impressive.
It worth a visit.
Parking at cost.

“Impressive Displays and Kid Friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013

The Florida Aquarium has an impressive display of Florida freshwater and saltwater marine wildlife. There is a horseshoe crab petting area and a spineless critter (anemones) touching area. Otters, crocs, alligators, stingrays, grouper, snook, sharks, boa constrictors, penguins, barracuda, you name it. If it lives in the marsh or saltwater around Florida, they have one on display.

“Real Florida”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

First class aquarium with real Florida displays. As a Florida resident for 40 years it displays real Florida fish in realistic displays. I was very impressed with the mangrove flats displays. They have touch tanks for kids and adults. The kids water play area is nice and well done. We ate at the tiki bar area and had unexpectedly good food and cold adult beverages with friendly wait staff. The food and drinks were a good value compared to any other theme park fare. Overall the whole trip to the aquarium was beyond my expectations. Don't expect flipper doing tricks, but if you take your time it's a first class aquarium exhibit along with a nice place to eat.
