Other reviews on this site are quite mixed, so I should start off by saying that we went in late February, and got there at park opening. It was really quiet all day, so we didn't queue more than a couple of minutes for any of the rides. In spite of this, there was more than enough to keep us there all day.
For those readers from the UK, this is what Chessington World of Adventures should be like - but there's really no comparison. Busch Gardens in well-maintained, relatively logically laid out, and the way the animals and other bits are intermingled makes it a very pleasant experience.
The food is very reasonably priced for a theme park, and not bad quality. The only show we took in was the Bird Show, which is cute. Unless you want a 45-minute promo for Anheuser-Busch, avoid the Beer School - though if you think Bud/Bud Light is No 1, it will confirm it for you!
This is one of only three parks I've been to that I could say I feel 'attached' to - the others are Dollywood and Lightwater Valley (Yorkshire), for very different reasons. Busch gardens is a relaxing environment out of season - what it's like in high summer, goodness knows, but honestly, you have to be out of your mind to try to do these things then...
