Other reviews on this site are quite mixed, so I should start off by saying that we went in late February, and got there at park opening. It was really quiet all day, so we didn't queue more than a couple of minutes for any of the rides. In spite of this, there was more than enough to keep us there all day.

For those readers from the UK, this is what Chessington World of Adventures should be like - but there's really no comparison. Busch Gardens in well-maintained, relatively logically laid out, and the way the animals and other bits are intermingled makes it a very pleasant experience.

The food is very reasonably priced for a theme park, and not bad quality. The only show we took in was the Bird Show, which is cute. Unless you want a 45-minute promo for Anheuser-Busch, avoid the Beer School - though if you think Bud/Bud Light is No 1, it will confirm it for you!

This is one of only three parks I've been to that I could say I feel 'attached' to - the others are Dollywood and Lightwater Valley (Yorkshire), for very different reasons. Busch gardens is a relaxing environment out of season - what it's like in high summer, goodness knows, but honestly, you have to be out of your mind to try to do these things then...

You need to pack your bags and go now!!! This is the best experience for people who love roller coasters. The only bad thing is thant if you dont like roller coasters you might not find to many rides for yourself.

Like the title says, even my husband who is NOT a fan of any amusement parks had a fun time. We are from California so we have so many amusement parks around us, so my husband usually doesn't want to go to any more while on vacation. We went on a weekday in Jan 2006 and the lines were non-existent. The longest line was about 20 mins and that was for Rhino Rally. Since the weather was a little overcast we didn't go on any of the water rides, but if we ever go back in the summertime I would love to try them. Our 2 favoriate rides were Montu & Sheikra.

For the other reviewer complaining about the price, all I can say is it's an amusement park and you pay a certain price for the experience. If you are on vacation in Tampa, definitely stop by I think it's well worth the $55/pp.

Overall we had a great time, and who can complain about a park that serves beer :-)

We traveled to Tampa, Florida for the holidays. We are a family of 6 (children ages 5-13). There was so much for all age groups. The coasters were the best. Montu and Sheikra being our favorites. The only complaint I have about Busch Gardens is the lines. It was a busy time of year and the lines were long. Busch Gardens would definately be the best park in Florida if they had a fast pass or express system similiar to that of Universal Orlando. I would definately be willing to pay extra for that feature. The animals were a great feature and enjoyed by all age groups. I will go back at a less busy time or if they offer fast pass or express.

We took this well needed trip to Tampa with our nearly 1 year old daughter and had a blast! There are so many things to see and do at Busch Gardens that we got a season pass and spent several days there. It is a very relaxing place to take the family. We travelled in February and the weather was beautiful and the park was fairly empty. Awesome shows and beautiful animals. I can't wait to go back!
