We live about 90 miles away from Busch Gardens and decided it would be a great gift for my wife's birthday. Bought our All Day Dining Deal tickets online, which included park admission and all you can eat at selected food concession venues. We arrived just after the gates opened, paid the $15 parking fee and began our park exploration, which of course included breakfast at the Zagora Cafe.
Admittedly, we are roller-coaster fans (we are 69 & 62 yrs old!), and we absolutely loved the Sheikra, Kumba, Montu, & Gwazi rides! We must have walked miles and miles but the entire park is very pleasant to experience. Every single person we encountered who was on the park staff was friendly, courteous, very outgoing, and helpful. We enjoyed a great lunch at the Crown Colony Cafe, and it was somewhat unusual having a sandwich and watching elephants, giraffes, and rhinos strolling around the park area adjacent to the restaurant.
We finally left just before the park closed -- having ridden every roller coaster we could get on, and some of them twice! Our tired carcasses were totally fatigued by the time we got back home, but we really had an enjoyable day. This park is well-run and well-maintained, and we would certainly recommend a vacation visit there to anyone, especially family and kids.
