We headed to Florida expecting warm days and wound up being there during a cool front.
On our visit the day time high was in the 60s, plus being a Monday made for a light traffic day at Busch Gardens. One unexpected benefit to being cool was all the animals were very active....tigers, cheetahs, gorillas, etc....were just having a blast enjoying the cool weather which made it great for us on our side of the glass.
Our girls loved the roller coasters and animals, it was very interesting when the trainers gave their little speeches...we did not do much in the kids sections, but they seemed to have quite a bit for the younger ages.
The park was very clean and only opened from 9:30 to 6:00 the day we were there.
We purchased tickets online which gave us "for our purposes" two basic options...
1.$75.00 you get a one day ticket plus a second day you could use within seven days.
2. $85.00 for a one day ticket and all you can eat at participating restaurants.
We chose option 2 because we weren't coming back. The food was not all that bad and the all you can eat included all fountain drinks and water bottles that were sold in the restaurants. Be warned that this does not include any of the snack stands located around the park, but there were several restaurants to choose from and usually not too far away.
All said it was a great day at a great location....hope you enjoy as much as we did.
