“DELICIOUS”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2014

Had lunch there today and it was wonderful. From the waitress to cleanliness to the freshness of the seafood. Great place to get fresh seafood. The one in Carrabelle is great also.

“Fresh seafood from the Gulf right in the city of Tallahassee”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2014

High quality fresh seafood in a small casual family owned restaurant that is tucked back off a main road so you have to look to find it. We both had the fried shrimp basket and the waitress said, you can really taste our shrimp. We weren't sure what she meant until we started eating our food- she was right, the shrimp were fantastic tasting and so fresh. Breading was light so it did not detract from the shrimp. You also get coleslaw, french fries and grits with the meal so it was a great value. We will definitely be back for more the next time we are in Tallahassee. The owners have another restaurant on the Gulf Coast and get their seafood fresh from the ocean. That has been so successful over many years that they have opened this second restaurant and we are glad they did!

“Nice find!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2014

My husband and I were passing through Tallahassee after visiting family nearby and we have eaten at the one in Carrabelle. Apparently this one is pretty new. It was great. Of course I had the fried shrimp and they were amazing!!! Some of the kinks needed to be worked out but the waitress was extremely nice and the place was busy. My husband got the fresh mullet and he thutoughly enjoyed his meal. The DERBY pie was the best. I enjoyed everythign about this place and even better it was so clean. I am not sure why the title of this place is Fishermans wife PAM when it needs to be just tallahassee but oh well.

“Happy birthday dinner was awesome !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2014 via mobile

We celebrated my husbands birthday with family and friends at The Fisherman's Wife in Tallahassee and had an awesome meal. The fried green tomatoes were cooked to perfection lightly breaded with a little bit of crunch just the way we like and the smoked fish dip was excellent and that was just for starters. Pam's crab cakes are amazing and if you want to be slightly healthier get them grilled, you won't regret it! The table was filled with a little bit of everything, fresh fried mullet, fried and grilled shrimp, a few baby burgers for the kids, and I do believe there was some healthy looking salads. A little something for everyone. Thank you to the cooks and wait staff for the pleasant experience y'all will be seeing us again!

“This sure is NOT Carrabelle!!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2014

We have been going to the Fisherman's Wife in Carrabelle for years. The seafood and the fried green tomatoes are really terrific and I have given them TOP rating on my reviews. So imagine how pleased we were when se saw they were opening in Tallahassee. Well, our pleasure was very short lived. The shrimp are much smaller and not as moist (kinda over cooked or something) as the ones in Carrabelle. The fried green tomatoes in Carrabelle are such that you can see the Tomato -- not so in Tallahassee, mostly all breading. Well, I guess there is nothing for it, our two favorite restaurants are Gradys in Graceville also GREAT for Shrimp and Fisherman's Wife in Carrabelle and after lunch today that has NOT changed.
