Had I not read some reviews, I would never have given this place a chance based on appearance. The funky interior is also no match for some very serious, creative dishes on their menu. The waitress was exteremekly knowledgeable and helpful about both the wine and food, and gave us great recommendations. We started with fried oystyers and gator tail - both delicious with bold sauces and slaw. Entrees were red snappper and duck breast - again, delicious, but with unexpected layers and punches of flavor that made it unique and memorable. Finished with savory ice cream, that just prefectly hit the spot. Don't remember the waitresses name, but thank you to the saint who took care of us and answered all of our questions. We made an origami heart in gratitude.
