“Take the Family and Enjoy the Visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

This is a great tour. Take time out of your day and bring the kids. Specifically if they are middle school or older. They, and you, will learn a lot and enjoy the day.

“This building is worthwhile visiting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012

The new building is disappointing. This one is nice. It really resembles what the State of FL was all about in terms of government and your are allowed to walk around and see plenty of interesting material. In addition, the building from the outside is worth several family pictures.

“Well Done”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012

It was a step back in time to the early history of Florida and was educational. The building has been restored to it's original luster and the self tour is informative. They even covered the election process and how the votes are counted. It was worth the time it took to see the entire museum.

“Excellent piece of Florida history, not to be missed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2012

This was a rewarding visit, providing a wealth of information about Florida's history, all the governors past and present, with access to the original offices and also the senate and house of representatives halls, with many rooms filled with memorabilia, interesting artifacts and running TV presentations. It is worth visiting, great learning experience, and it is free of charge.

“Better than expected”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2012

This was free and a great outing for our kids. Interactive areas the kids loved and scavenger hunts that were fun. Much more attractive than the new capital for sure. Great history.
