My gf and I went here on a weekday night, around 7p(ish). We immediately noticed that it was clean, lots of knick-knacks adorned the bar (in true pub style) but they were clean and not dusty, at all. A couple of tvs in one room (well positioned for everyone) and a side "bar/shop" that was more for drinking and watching one of the other big screen tvs.
Service was good. Friendly, quick with a re-fill and they seemed to remember the "locals," which I always appreciate (even if i am not one).
Food was quite good. Very nice size portions and it came out hot with good flavor. The English breakfast was prepared perfectly and barely fit on the plate. My gf's open-face sandwich was also huge and the Guiness sauce was delicious. A side of "chips" and curry sauce was def the way to go.
In closing, I would def come back to this restaurant again. I am sure it is amazing to watch a soccer/football game here. I usually give a lot of weight to when an specific cultural/ethnic cuisine restaurant has a lot of natives-- to me that gives me a sense the food is very authentic and this place did not disappoint.
