this is a chain restaurant but it feels as though the really try to keep the island theme and atmosphere and they pull it off nicely. the décor definitely makes you think you are on an island house/hotel, the music (inside and outside, where usually it plays live) helps with this, and most servers seem happy and genuine. went there with the family for lunch, and generally was satisfied. The drinks were kind of weak, especially the "skinny" ones that the ladies ordered, they are just sugarless versions of themselves, and as I said, weak on the liquor side, but that's almost expected nowadays from chains (still shameful though, as they charge what a full bar would charge anyway) and there was a little issue with the food on my mother's order. it was a pasta dish tht should include chorizo, but the chorizo was AWOL. at first the server noticed but didn't look too interested in fixing it, however; she did bring a separate dish with plenty of chorizo in it, and that solved the problem. all in all, the experience was good, I would recommend for a good meal at a decent price and a cool, relaxed atmosphere. Don't bring expectations of grandeur, this is a chain place. remember that, and you will be happily surprised.
