“Why do we eat at this place 1-2 time per week in the last 2.5 years?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

Pure and authentic Vietnamese food experience. A honest hardworking family. David, the manager and husband to the Chef is always in good mood and friendly.

Try...
- Thai hotpot
- Caramelized fish
- Pho (one of the very few restaurant making the broth the old fashion slow cooking way)
- Lotus salad

...and not to mention great value for money. If you go there more than once, don't eat the same thing, else you will not enrich your foodie experience.

“All you can eat - and then some.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2014

Pho Brandon is in yet another small strip center location in the Sunrise area; this seems to be the popular way here. Our waiter was without a smile, but quite efficient in moving the business—which, perhaps, he needed to be, with nearly a full house on Saturday night. She had a pho dish, and I had a stir-fried chicken with peppers and lemongrass sauce, with white rice. Both dishes were very good, and both were far more than we could eat. So a tip for the frugal: one dish here is plenty of food for two, even if you don’t order an appetizer. The waiter jokingly said the ship had sunk, and they were out of Vietnamese beer, but they did have three or four offerings of popular beers here.

Prices were very reasonable—two beers, two entrees, and an order of 2 huge spring rolls all came to around $29.00 plus tip. You could live here on a budget, for sure. There were several specials posted on a board at the front of the restaurant, and the menu has several pages, interspersed with photos of some of the many dishes. You may have to spend some time deciding, there are so many choices. But you will not go away hungry!

“A foodie experience !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2014

Had to update my review because Pho Brandon deserves the recognition after my 31th visit ~ Still an outstanding mea! of Vietnamese home cooking by "Chef David" and his family. They are serving up outstanding culinary delights such as: (... our meal was ...)
~Banh Xeo (extra crispy crepe)
~Pho Tai Chin Nam
~Pho Do Bien
~Ca Kho To
~Banh Mi Thit Nuong
...and ice cold "Saigon" beer (...still waiting for the New Year Shipment of "33" ~ sigh)

You can never go wrong with great bowl of Pho and it's savory broth for that feeling inside that a great soup brings you.

Cheers!

“Do not miss pho brandon!”

By far the best pho I have had in the western world! We popped in after passing by earlier in the day and laughing at the name. Wow the food was out of this world good. We will be back often

“Disappointing the Last Three Visits”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2014

We started going here about six months ago and loved the food and the service by David, the owner. We must have been there at least 20 times. The last three were extremely disappointing.

David has hired a young kid as the server. He doesn't make you feel welcome or that he enjoys his job.

The Pho was not as good either. When the server brought the garnishments for our two soups, it was just one small plate instead of one for each of us. We questioned that and his response was that was a plate for two. We insisted on more. Also, it came with lemon instead of a lime wedge as most who know Pho, know that lime gives it a much stronger taste than lemon. We asked about that and the server's response was "Lemons are cheaper". Guess the price of limes must have skyrocketed within the last month as we always got limes before.

Just a gut feeling, this place is going down hill. Maybe the owner is not as interested in the place. Regardless, last night was our last visit.
