“Loved the Lobster BLT”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

Fun little place right on the water. Nothing fancy, but great food and wonderful selection of beers. Nice place to spend sometime outside enjoying good food and Florida weather.

“Warm Oysters!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

Three people in our party decided to try several varieties of the oysters on their specials menu. Was surprised when they were served on a piece of lettuce & they were warm! We questioned the waitress & she said they keep them in a refrigerator. I have always had them served on a bed of ice or rock salt. The rest of the food was Ok. Would NOT recommend the oysters.

“Great food, a little pricey”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

The food is fantastic, service is hit or miss, the owner is very nice, proces a little high, but worth it if you are not on a budget. Has a nice fresh seafood market too.

“Not your normal fish house - craft beers, gulf views and great music!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Being coral rock fresh water conches, we rarely venture off island to eat with Key West's choices of great dining beckoning just a short bicycle ride away.

Sunday found us motoring up the Keys to blow out our conch mobile's muffler pipes and our mental cobwebs. We whizzed past US-1's Mile Marker 25 when we spied gulf-side what had been a dilapidated wharf and outbuildings that had been turned into a fish house. We decided on the spot to check it out.

We were surprised. The seafood was local and well prepared (shrimp and oyster baskets plentiful, amazingly tender and tasty), the craft beer selection on tap and by the bottle broad and deep, the service excellent, and the prices definitely non-Duval St in value.

They have two indoor dining areas. The first has a view of the kitchen. We chose the comfy, webbed highboy seats and tables. The third is an outdoor multi-colored canvas sailcloth covered area complete with bar. We finished our Monk in a Trunk and Milk Stout beers outdoors.

“Great food every time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Went there last year while on a Scout trip to SeaBase. Had a great time, so when we went back to the Keys this year on a family vacation we had to stop in again. The fresh fish is always perfectly prepared. Blackened mahi and coconut fried snapper - yum! The crab soup was also terrific.
