When you first walk into this restaurant, the atmosphere is a welcomed refuge. It's like a tropical oasis. If you're lucky, the wait is not too long. However, on week-ends, or special Stuart art shows or events, it's a very popular place!
The service wasn't great. Maybe they need to hire more people? The food was OK but nothing I can remember and look forward to returning to. The day I was there, there was a huge storm. We were able to move inside but that area is tiny.(The majority of guests had to hastily end their meals because the thatched roofs or umbrellas couldn't protect them for the pouring rain.) A table of adults with kids was directly behind us once we went inside. Their noise level was awful! They also kept taking pictures until I simply told them how annoying their flash was! I think it's a nice place for a snack but NOT on the week-ends or during any downtown event. I would not recommend it for any dinner.
