I can't say enough about the absolute splendor of this beautiful little B & B-the accomodations were quaint, sparkling clean-gives you the feeling of being in your grandmother's house-in a real good way! The innkeeper's welcomed you with genuine warmth & kindness. Once you parked your car-you just head out on foot along the boardwalk meandering the riverfront-stop at the Pelican waterfront restaurant for great,casual food, drink and live music-then head on to the charming little downtown filled with shops,cafes and charm galore! There is not one single thing I could have changed to top my stay! I don't know how anybody can stay in a chain hotel-knowing that these little gems of inns are out there. Will definitely return with open arms. Wish I could go every weekend!

My husband & I had such a great time at this quaint little B & B.
All the comforts of home without the stress!!
Everyone was wonderful, so helpful in giving us ideas on where to go, things to do. We took a walk down the boardwalk and it turned out to be the most romantic walk-even though it was the middle of the day.
We REALLY enjoyed playing with Sam & Sadie (the resident dogs) and were sad that we couldn’t take them for just one more walk or throw the coconut around once again.
We will most definitely be back for another weekend stay when my husband & I just need a little KW get away, but don’t want to drive the 5 hrs it takes us to get to the house down there.
This is the PERFECT substitute and I highly recommend it.
Do not pass up the opportunity to visit, sit back, stay a while & relax...because that is what Inn Shepard's Park is all about.

Because our son and daughter-in-law, long time residents of the Stuart, FL, area, had a full house, they booked Inn Shepard's Park for us for a 2-night's stay.
Wow! We loved it. It is an older home that Marilyn Miller, the proprietor, restored, so it retains its original charm with modern comforts - beautiful room with bath, comfortable bed, delicious continental breakfast, and a coffee pot setup you have to see to believe.
It's close to the River Walk, which is a great way to take in the view of the St. Lucie River and the Inland Waterway. It seems everything is in walking distance -old Stuart, new Stuart, parks, City Hall, fishing, boating,etc., etc. If you're looking for stainless steel and glass architecture you'll be disappointed. If you're looking for charm and relaxation, this is it. Marilyn is a delight, and we couldn't have had a better time.
