We've been enjoying Nouvelle Cuisine for years. When this hidden culinary delight first opened, we thought, "Too bad...they are too good to last for long in Spring Hill." But they HAVE! And we are so pleased about that. No longer do we have to drive 40 minutes to get to a restaurant serving fine food. It's right here at our doorstep. Well, not quite, since we don't live in a small strip mall on a main road which also contains a tattoo parlor!
We introduced friends to this place on our last visit. Upon walking through the door, one is transported to a traditional Belgium restaurant where the owners, Isabelle and Jan, make everyone feel like longtime friends. Jan has done a wonderful job in keeping with the Belgian culinary traditional dishes, but with his own imaginative additions. The menu changes, with new and exciting additions as often as Jan comes up with a twist on the old standards. Isabelle does an excellent job of suggesting tastey wine pairings to go with the main courses.
We can't recommend this little restaurant highly enough. We are so glad they decided on Spring Hill! It's well worth a visit - and once you've been there, you'll keep going back.
