“Best Cuban family restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Casa Larios is always good, has plenty of tables inside or outside on the covered patio. We live in South Miami and often take visitors here for a tasty Cuban meal; better food than other Cuban restaurants. Service is friendly, and they don't mind if you linger a while. Prices reasonable. Only drawback, sometimes the general crowd noise is too loud, happy diners with raised voices and it is hard to converse. Popular with families and large groups. Bar and live music later some evenings

“Great Saturday Night!.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

If you want to listen and dance to a great "Live Band Show", this is then the place.
The Band starts around 9:30 pm untill 12pm. They play so good that you have to stand up and dance to.
The food is ok and it could be better.
I dislike the Salad because the herbs used are the chepeast on the market, and the fish I asked was very dry to my taste.
They could serve more fresh food rather than heating the plates or frying the frozen ones like the cuban sweet plantains or tostones.
But it is a good place to enjoy cuban food along with a Live Band!. The location of the restaurant is great by the way and they also have valet parking at an affordable fee and great service provided.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

Authentic Cuban Food and Quality Service in this conveniently located restaurant. Spacious and popular. We have a monthly business breakfast meeting here and have done this for years. Great food and atmosphere for reasonable prices with quality, attentive, service.

“Ay Caramba!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2012 via mobile

Went pretty early on a Friday night, the band was setting up and the place was empty. It was probably 6 pm. Everyone was focused on helping the band set up. The service was average and the food was bland. No real kids menu so the kids split a picadillo. It was really dry and they really didn't like it. The adults had Vaca Fritta which was ok. It was kind of nothing to write about a bit disappointing. Probably be a long time till I return there, too many other great Cuban Restaurants in town.

“Gallo pinto in a Cuban restaurant? Don't miss it.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Gallo pinto is a traditional black-beans-and-rice breakfast dish from Costa Rica and Nicaragua, here served at a restaurant that advertises "The Best Cuban Cooking in the Heart of South Miami." Inconsistent? Not in our Latin American melting pot. Try Lario's breakfast #5 -- gallo pinto, 2 eggs, and Cuban toast. Add cafe con leche, and you'll discover a Central American breakfast treat without having to hunt for your passport.
