Located in South Miami off of US 1 between Coconut Grove and Homestead Casa Lario's delivers a pretty amazing variety of Cuban specialties. I found the garlic bread which arrives within seconds of one taking a seat to be as sinful as it is delicious and crispy good. I had the Vaca Frita (Fried Cow which is Beef "stripped" into shredded morsels and fried in a secret sauce that was so delicious, this came accompanied with traditional Cuban black beans and rice (also very flavorful and tender). I ended with a flan and a Café Cubano (Cuban Espresso) which kept me alert all the way to the Florida Keys! Thank you Casa Larios for such a delicious intermission on my way to the Fabulous FLorida Keys. Oh and the service felt more like I was at a 5 Star..perhaps overly attentive, but cheery, not in your face and always alert to the diner's needs. Bravo!
