“Everything was HORRIBLE!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2012

On the date of June 30, 2012 after a series of unfortunate events, my group of seven females and I, reluctantly checked into the Best Miami Hotel. When we initially arrived after traveling from Maryland which ended up bein close to a 20 hour drive, the hotel could not find our reservations. Although, I had all of my comfirmation emails and receipts showing the specific reservation; the clerk at the desk refused to look at them and I was told that does not matter. After waiting about thirty minutes we were informed of an eight dollar a night parking fee for this low quality hotel along with a two-dollar a night charge for an electric safe in each room which we had no intentions on using. There is no other parking options near the location and I did not appreciate having to pay for parking as a guest at this hotel. Once we received our keys and entered the rooms we noted the obvious slope in the beds as if the beds had been 10 years old. We had to request to stay in a different room but upon viewing different options we noticed that all of the other rooms were the same or worse than the room we were already assigned. I shared a room with three other females and each day we woke up with one washcloth and one towel and had to go to the front desk and request them for our six day vacation. The electric door keys were demagnatized for some unknown reason multiple times a day. After longs day on the beach we had to wait outside the door for someone to get the key programmed again. The day after we checked in we noticed at $50 charge on the credit cards swiped for the two rooms. We went to the front desk to ask wha the charge was for and after 20 minutes of pondering we were informed that it was an incident protection pending charge that we were not informed of when we checked in. At this point we have been inconvienced in the amount of $100 with what I feel are miscellaneuos charges. The staff was extremely unhelpful and unwilling to accommodate with any of our request without an argument. My friends and I did not feel appreciated as paying guest in this hotel. We had planned to leave July 3rd, but decidede to stay one more night for the 4th of July festivities. We booked another night on Hotels.com which we had used to reserve the rooms the first time. When we went to notify the staff that we were going to stay another night. They told us that we had to check out and check back in, in addition to having another $25 pending charge on our acconts, and of course the $8 for parking and $2 for the safe. If the staff seemed a little more concerned with there guest rather than making a quick dollar, and made some major renovations this hotel would have great potential to be a nice stay. The location is quiet and there are nice malls and eateries in the area.

Nice hotel and good room.
There was WiFi in the room, but no fridge.
The breakfast was very poor and no possibility to seat at a table.
The location was good, and although there was plenty of parking space (was outside of Miami) the parking at the hotel was not for free.
The personal at the reception could not find the registration altough I have made on the same day. I had to wait quite a lot until he prepared the docs and received the keys.

the room needs a little more of care. door was missing the lock and at night time was too
noise as a couple was fighting outside and screaming. took more than an hour for the police to get there. the little fridge was too old and rust.

OMG that was a disgusting place, this is from far the worst hotel i've ever stopped in. The staff is rude and aggressive, and not helpful at all. We asked for a non smoking room we had a smoking room with a bathroom which were disgusting, I was even scared to put my foot in it... I let you guess how horrible it was. There are talking about a continental breakfast, it was more a joke than anything else, giving us plane frozen donuts with some ginger cakes and orange juice that were warm. Even the coffee was a mess.

A ghost town, no one outside, far as hell from Miami beach.
Swimming pool dirty, and within a week I never saw anyone of them cleaning it. And even when you think it's over, you are waiting for a shuttle to the airport for 3 hours and the receptionist sells you dream by telling you "he'll be here in a minute" every half hour.

I am telling you that sincerely, don't even stop in there, it's a nightmare.

This place is probably the worst hotel i have ever seen. The staff is unfriendly (don't even try to check in before 3pm, they ll rudely send you somewhere else). The place is stinky, you don't even have to get into your room to smell it, the halls, the reception,... and you understand why once you see the windows covered by green mold (true story). If your only purpose is to pay a low price, run but otherwise don't even think about staying there you rather chose the camp site. The safety (which is a hidden fee btw) was broken, same for the bed and hope you brought your flip flops cause I wouldn't get into the bathroom without it! The rooms aren't pretty but it doesn't really matter since you don't pay a lot. I have seen a lot of bad places in my whole life but this one is probably the worst! The area is as terrible as the hotel!!!

rudest staff im every experienced. said "only here for the paycheck" and called my friend "a piece of sh**" when questioning why the room key wouldnt work. beware of many hidden fees. filthy place that resembles a ghost town. bring sandals and dont dare walking barefoot anywhere in the room especially the showers. location is in a ghetto. despite cheap price ITS A MASSIVE RIP OFF!!! to give this place a single star in any area of this service is about 6 stars too many.

Locked out of parking garage in middle of night, then locked out of room by sarcastic desk man who had no reservations about totally ruining our vacation. Had no interest in fixing problem. He was beyond belligerent and now at 1 a.m. We are embarking on 6 hour drive home after loooong day bc we have no room. So many hidden charges u arent told about until arrival. Its a scam! Will surely be out of business soon.
