I say surprising only because this unassuming little place is in a strip mall near the Petco and a paint store. I stopped in one day to get a loaf of brioche and they had a full house for lunch, so I thought I should give it a try. My friend and I went on a Tuesday evening and it was not crowded. Service was good, though a bit slow getting us our first glass of wine. I had the delicious duck confit with vegetables, the green beans had that perfect slight bite, done just right. The little potatoes were perfect. My friend enjoyed her steak frites very much too. Both meals were preceded by a lovely little fresh green salad with great dressing. Their wine choices are limited to Sancerre and a red (don't remember which). We did not have dessert. I must say that I didn't care for their brioche that I had previously purchased. It was spongy and oily (not buttery) and was cylindrical, as if cooked in a can. But the dinner was lovely and well priced. We will go back for sure.
