We stayed here twice, and will again! Staff was nice and location to beach is perfect! The sand and beaches is second to none! The drive to Armand circle I believe it's called is short and worth it for the shopping!

We originally booked a room in the Sara Sea Beach Resort, one of the other properties of this resort group, however our room was not ready when we tried to check in. No worries though, the office staff graciously offered us a bottle of champagne and a late check out the following day and changed our room to The Grand Heron Room at this property, a nicer room than we originally booked. The room was spotless and tastefully decorated with modern appliances, not the pastel-Florida look that is so popular at older condos throughout Florida. This property is a little further back from the beach, but still, a 5 minute walk at most. The beach is nice with lovely clear water and soft sand. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is a private beach that is shared by several other resorts so it still does have a lot of people on it, but it is still very nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend this and any of their other two properties. Excellent rooms, friendly and personal service, beautiful beach, what more could you want for a beach vacation? We hope that we can go back next year.

My wife and booked a stay with Topical Sun which is part of Tropical Beach Resorts. This was a kind of last minute booking to celebrate our anniversary and get away after losing our dog. We had the Sandpiper room. When we checked in they were very nice. They asked if there was anything we needed and we mentioned we had reservations at a local restaurant for our anniversary. The office sent over a bottle of wine to our room. The room was very clean and well set up. Short walk to the beach. If you don't have an umbrella or chairs you can rent them on the beach and charge it to your room. We needed an umbrella and paid $6 for half a day. Everyone smiles and the whole resort is well cared for.

We stayed at Tropical Sun Resort midweek during July. Perhaps I didn't read the website carefully, but I was under the impression that the TSR only had 3 rooms. So we arrived thinking that it would be small, quaint, and quiet. We arrived to find that it while they had 3 types or rooms, there many of those three types. Our stay was in the hummingbird room. The room itself was very nice if there are just two of you. All the kitchen amenities were there, the bathroom was clean and updated, and the bed was super comfortable. We were, however, in the middle room in a row of rooms and our neighbors were not quiet people. The walls are very thin and we had to check a few times to make sure the door was actually closed because people outside on the walkway were extremely noisy. I'd advise requesting a room on the end of the building.

Check-in went very smoothly and the people at the front desk were always helpful and friendly. You can use their chairs and towels and they even have a large selection of movies you can borrow to watch in your room in case of an afternoon storm or during the evening. They serve complimentary coffee and pink lemonade with cookies available as well which we enjoyed on the walk back from the beach.

The beach is very close, which is great. Be advised, the beach is crowded! I may be spoiled by the empty beaches of Martin County, FL, but I couldn't believe the amount of people at Crescent Beach. Now, Crescent Beach is private, but there are about 6 or 7 large resorts that use it so it doesn't seem that way. Many resorts have chairs and umbrellas already set up for their guests so it can make finding a spot tricky. That being said, we did enjoy the beach and it's close proximity to the hotel.

The pools were clean and pleasant. Though we didn't grill anything, there were a couple of grills available. In all honestly, this is a good little resort with many of the comforts of home. Nabbing the special rate ($99) in the summer is a great deal. It's probably better for families with children though. Maybe it was just our neighbors, but we could hear every word they said.

Room Tip: Try to get an end unit room. The walls/doors are paper thin.

Been coming here for past five years. New desk lady working was rude and refused to check us into our room until 3pm even though the room was ready by 2pm. This was out third hotel stop on this trip and the only hotel who was unable to check us in before 3 pm. Not acceptable considering we paid $230 a night.

We love to read that we have guests that have been coming back to Tropical Beach Resorts for the past five years. We look forward to seeing our return guests and it's part of what makes this resort such a wonderful place. We were concerned that our return guest were upset they had to wait until 3:00 to check-in and did everything possible to get them in before our check in time of 3:30. We would never refuse to check a guest into a room once it was prepared and checked. In this case, our GM actually walked into the garden to let them know they could check in as soon as the suite had been prepared and checked. We want our guests to know that we do everything we can to work within individual travel arrangements and if an earlier check in is anticipated our guests still have access to the pool and beach and parking is provided. We also call our guests on their cell phone as soon as the room is prepared. We really try to exceed our guests expectations and it's are sorry that our return guests were unhappy with their check in experience. We hope we will have the opportunity to exceed their expectations in the future.

My first time visiting Fl and I was blown away. The private beach access is incredible and the biggest advantage to staying here. We enjoyed strolling to the beach whenever we wanted and the privacy and exclusivity of Sarasea Circle was a bonus. The provided chairs, towels, and umbrellas made our stay very relaxing and affordable. The Sandpiper King room was spectacular and the staff extremely accommodating. The pools, grills, and beautifully landscaped areas are a bonus on an island that is heavily developed. Every time I was in the office to inquire on local attractions, there was always a guest ahead of me trying to book another night or a future trip. This is a gem. We can't wait to come back. Incredible doesn't seem to cover it.

My husband and I just returned from a stay at the Tropical Sun Resort. It was a little difficult to tell the differences between the three properties at this resort even after scanning the many reviews, but what we chose was perfect for us. We booked direct with the resort and they matched a price I found on line. The Tropical Sun units are closest to the main road, but insulated from it by a stucco wall and tropical landscaping. This is also where the pool is located, very close to the room. The pool was pleasantly quiet with only ourselves or another couple there during our visit. Pool towels are available poolside.

Check in staff was friendly and welcoming. We had a Sandpiper room and it was exactly as pictured on their website. It was a decent size for a couple. The bathroom was large with plenty of counter space, roomy tile shower, towels a bit lightweight but certainly adequate. The king size bed is very comfortable for great sleeping after all the sun and beach time. Hair dryer, iron, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, refrigerator, stove all in room.

We brought our own beach towels as we had a prior stop on our trip. I had also packed a reed beach mat which weighs nothing. Adding the smaller beach towels and the free beach chairs from the resort office made for comfortable beach time. The beach is a short walk away. It is easy to go to the beach for a while, come back to the room for lunch and return to the beach for the afternoon or evening walks. The beach was beautiful soft white sand and the sea crystal clear and 75 degrees. We used the "free" ride service to access the village for dinner one night, runs on "tips only" ($5.00 each way). Just call the phone number and they come pick you up.

We will definitely return in the future due to the friendliness of the staff, the well kept facilities, the location with easy beach and bay access near point of rocks and a less crowded beach and overall comfort and convenience! Thank you Tropical Sun!
