We have stayed here twice and would be willing to give it another shot. The first time was back in 2003 and we stayed in one of the a one bedroom cottages. It was wonderful, very clean and quiet. We just loved the pool and the grounds were well maintained. On our most recent visit we went with the whole family and rented the 3 bedroom.. It was well appointed and you cant beat the view. It looked like it could use some updating, nothing major though.. The only thing wrong was the pool. We stayed for a week and I didnt see anyone cleaned it or checked the water the until day three when the water was was murkey and had foam floating ontop. That was a little disappointing because my son loves to swim and there was no way I was going to let him get into that mess. My mother in-law contacted someone and It was resolved in a timely manner. The other thing we didnt like was the carpet looked clean but after awhile it turned our feet black. Like I said its a great place but needs some updating asap.. We will go back

My husband & I spent the week of our 30th anniversary at the Banana Bay Lagoon Resort. We upgraded our accomodations to the Sunset Cottage (upon our arrival) as a last minute cancellation made it available. The Sunset efficiency had everything we needed. The pool was lovely & Sunset Cottage has its own screened lanai & a small patch of sand for sun bathing. We enjoyed them both so very much. The kayaks were great fun in the lagoon.
The property location is perfect. Literally a stone's throw, just about 1 mile either way on the main road, places you on either Turtle or Crescent Beach & in the midst of terrific dining & night life. The Resort Owners & the management staff were available & accomodating. We met some lovely people who were also enjoying their vacations. We cant say enough & look forward to going back soon.............Leslie & John K. New Jersey

Hubby & I have been staying at Banana Bay Cottages for 9 years now, twice a year in both May and October. We stayed in Bay Breeze for many of those visits with the whole family, but now for the past few visits we have been in Sunset Suite which is just perfect for the two of us. The atmosphere is peaceful & quiet with beautiful views of the lagoon, bird watching & fish jumping while relaxing in the lanai. We are always treated like family and would never consider staying at any other place. We have already reserved our two weeks stay for this May. Looking forward to being at our home away from home!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Banana Bay Club. We stayed in the Sunset cottage. It was very quiet and private. The room is very spacious. We loved the free use of the kayaks and canoe. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The Banana Bay Club is in a great location, close to Turtle Beach and many great restaurants.
