The location is excellent! It is between the beach and downtown and a 1 min walk in either direction to get to either/or. The staff was great (the manager Jennifer is AWESOME). The only complaint I have is the fact that we were booked in the renovated rooms but when we got there ended up staying in the older portion which is not very nice. They CAN NOT HOLD ANY ROOM AT THE TIME OF BOOKING ONLINE OR BY PHONE. We got in late so we had to stay in the older portion of the hotel which I had specifically asked when I booked not to put me in. The furniture was old and the swimming pool was tiny. The good news it that they allowed my German Shepherd to stay so it was probably just as well we stayed in that section of the bungalows.

I recommend this place but just ask to stay in the "newer" part and do not expect them to hold your room.

The beach was beautiful. The location was great..plenty of restaurants to chose from. Our only frustration was we went there planning to rent chairs and an umbrella. We followed the signs to where they were suppose to be and there was nothing there! Luckily I had the resort number on my cell phone (otherwise we were going to have to walk the 4 blocks to the office), we called and they said they could have the stuff to us within the hour, and it would cost $30.00 for the day. We said forget it, not for $30.00. Next time we will make sure we bring our own chairs and umbrellas! We stayed in a standard, updated, room for 2 nights. It was clean, comfortable and easy to enjoy. It was only my husband and I, which was fine, but I'm not to sure if I'd go back with our kids. Since its not right on the beach, we'd have to drive the two blocks to drop off the kids, their stuff & myself OR bring a wagon to pull them. Overall it was a good stay considering there weren't very many resorts or hotels in the area.

The location is great. It is in walking distance of everything. The room we stayed in was recently renovated and roomy. It was nice and comfortable. Our only complaints were that the shower was either really hot or really cold. No in between. Also, all the pools were warm. No cold water in them. On a hot summer day in Florida that is bad. Other than that it was quiet and relaxing.

We arrived for our child free weekend getaway only to find out that they gave our room away to someone else. They claim that they can't guarantee rooms but then why do you spend 45 min. on the phone with them trying to find the perfect room and location. This ruined our weekend and we were stuck driving around at 8 PM looking for a place to stay.
We ended up finding a GREAT place closer to the beach and much nicer staff. The Beach Palms is a great place don't bother with Tropical Breeze.
