“Incredible food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

I loved the food at Bonjour Café so much we ate all our meals there while in Siesta Key. The owner is a very charming French chef and she cooks everything with love and passion. The breakfast is out of this world as well as the lunch! I loved the omelet and the French toast. She even has fresh squeezed carrot juice. Impeccable food and over the top service as well. I wish I lived closer as this is the BEST!!! Five stars!!

“Authentic Home-made food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

Loved their breakfast sausages and coffee. Sweet crepes were really good. They don't use nutella but rather real chocolate.

“Disappointing.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2013

After reading the great reviews I expected lunch with my mother to be much better than it was. She loves French Onion Soup and coming from Quebec, she expected it to be "au gratin". But it was just an onion broth filled with oodles of onions. The only cheese was on the bread biscuit served on the side. My strawberry crepe was different in that it was a flat (slightly soggy/doughy) crepe on the bottom of the plate with a few strawberry slices strewn on top, along with dollops of whip cream. I never had a crepe that didn't have the "filling" inside, rolled or folded. It didn't match the photo shown on their menu, either. My mom did say the croissant she ordered was good. And I did enjoy the windows wide open, no chilling a/c when not necessary. But the food was disappointing, in general.

“A delicious taste of France in Siesta...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

Love this little cafe!!! My mother lived in France for a while and always spoke of the pastries and foods that she loved so much, and I've always wanted to go. Coming to Bonjour cafe and tasting their delicious foods made me feel like I was in a little cafe in Paris. From their buttery, crispy croissants (best I've ever had), smooth rich coffee, and lightly sugared crepes sure to end each meal with the perfect touch of sweetness, this cafe is France at its finest.

The owners are husband and wife with adorable French accents, and when asked what brought to Siesta Key, their answer was simple: "The American Dream!"
