“A very friendly place to stay on Siesta Key”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2014

My husband stayed here for 3 days during our January Florida vacation. Mary Ann is a lovely person - very welcoming and helpful. The Siesta Key Inn is very close to the beach/a very short walk to the beautiful powdery beach. This was not a good time weather wise, but did luck out and have a couple of sunny days to walk on the beach. We had everything we needed in our apartment. The kitchen had everything a kitchen would need or it seemed to me. We didn't cook there, but could have if our visit had been longer. The bathroom had a shower only with plenty of towels, the shower was a very good shower by the way. The bedroom opened up to a small patio with table and chairs.

We came to the Siesta Palms over Christmas break, and it was just amazing. Mary Ann was so welcoming and accommodating. The condo itself was furnished with top of the line furniture, was fully stocked, even having coffee and tea! That was a really nice touch. There was lots of space to share, and a great view of the pool which is almost ready for use.

We really appreciated having both beach towels and chairs to use, and a towel exchange program, allowing for new towels whenever we could like. And the easy and short walk to the beach just made this place fantastic.

We have been coming to Siesta Key for 15 years now and this is the nicest place we have ever stayed! Thanks again Koch family!

We stayed at their sister property, Siesta Palms, just down the street. You can find it on the webpage. MaryAnn was absolutely wonderful. The 1 bedroom 1 bath condo was beautifully furnished, extremely clean, and quiet. All of the condos face out to the new, heated pool which wasn't finished, however, we were able to use the pool at the Siesta Key Inn. The condo featured stainless steel appliances, cooking utensils and pots/pans, toaster, coffeepot, teapot, and microwave. The condo also offered free wifi, Direct TV cable, and central AC, as well as coin operated laundry facilities, if needed. The beach is less than a quarter mile walk down the street and you can use the beach chairs and beach toys at the Siesta Key Inn....We had such a lovely stay especially travelling with a toddler. We plan to stay here every time we come back to Sarasota!

Not surprisingly, this place held up to expectations. We stayed here with my parents in early November for a long weekend. We usually stay on Long Boat Key but wanted a change and wanted to be closer to our family that lives here. Rented the two bedroom which could accommodate daily needs and then some. Mary Ann (and her father, lead greeter) the owner, was very welcoming and helpful with pointing us to great restaurants. Breakfast being a family favorite, it was important I had the spots identified. Beach is very short walk away! Lovely and less crowded than other beaches. We will be staying here from now on...

Siesta Key Inn was an excellent location for our first beach trip to the USA.The apartment was fabulous, very clean and well equipped and the outside area, pool and hot tub lovely. Mary Ann adds a personal touch that you don't find everywhere and it is really appreciated. The provision of beach equipment and daily towel exchange excellent. We would have no hesitation in recommending Siesta Key Inn to friends and family and would like to think we will return to this beautiful corner of Siesta Key one day.Thank you for a wonderful week :)

My gicame to Siesta Key on Labor Day weekend on a whim and stopped at the Inn on our way in. After talking with Paige, the innkeeper, she told us they had one room available and we decided to stay. The inn was clean, well maintained, cute decor in the room. Even though they were doing construction it still wasn't noisy or a problem.

Paige helped us find a good spot to rent paddleboards (which can be a challenge with the waves!), recommended several options for dinner and nightlife, and told us where to access the beach. The location is perfect--we parked the car and never drove it until we were ready to leave. We walked to the village for dinner at the Cottage, which had fantastic Peruvian fare, although you wouldn't guess it from the name. They were having a bar crawl and we ended up hitting all 3 main nightlife spots: Daiquiri's (awkward, poor music), Gilligan's (fun, with DJ and dancing), and Siesta Key Oyster Bar aka SKOB (live bluegrass band with dancing, a TON of fun). We ended up closing out the night dancing at SKOB with mostly locals.

Had breakfast at the Sun Garden which was gourmet and delicious, highly recommended.

Overall the experience was great! Paige is really accommodating, friendly, and helpful, and the room was great. We didn't swim in the pool, though, because we spent all our time at the beach. Next time!

Location is perfect, quiet, secluded, yet near everything! My wife and I celebrated our 35 anniversary there for the first time. We have vowed to return every year for our anniversary for the next 35! We loved it! The owners are extremely attentive and the rooms were spotless as well as we'll appointed. Everything you need for a weekend getaway or month long stay. Very impressed!
