“Lived up to all our expectations and more”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2013

We were 100% happy with this place, it looked exactly like it does in the pictures, was clean, modern, catered for all our needs and was in a fab location. The only downside is the fact that its not within walking distance of Siesta Key centre but we were able to drive there so didn't miss out. The pool area was clean and tidy and it was a very short walk to the beach through a locked gate for which we had a key. We'd been to this beach before so we knew already how beautiful it is. You have to get there early however to get the beach chairs. There's a few restaurants within walking distance also. All in all, we were more than happy with our choice and wouldn't have any hesitations in recommending this place to others.

Great location, great price and a very friendly & efficient service - thank you. We stayed for a week at the start of August and from our arrival everything was perfect. Poolside room, very clean and well appointed and a good maid service. Just 2 minutes walk from the beautiful beach so all in all a great experience.

Stayed in their One Bedroom standard for a weekend trip in Mid-August. Very clean and modern furnishings feel. Plenty of room with kitchen/dining table, couch and separate bedroom. Upgrading to the deluxe one bedroom gains a large balcony I would recommend. Staff very friendly. Loved the large common area balconies with wicker style furnishings. Easy 3 minute walk to the beach and a few restaurants and bars (Captain Curt's) about a 5 minute walk. You will need to catch a cab, bike or drive to "the Village" as it is about 2-3 miles north.

No complaints about room 100A. The murphy bed was comfortable. The room was clean and very modern. The beach was a 45 second walk from the room (not a beach front view). The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I would absolutely stay there again.

Stayed here for 3 days (7/28/2013~7/30/2013) with children (two teen) and husband. We rented 2b/2b. I paid $252 per night.

Pros : modern(same as pictures), close to the beach (about 3 mins), close to 7-11 (2 mins).

Cons: parking limited (you might want to come back early so you can park your car near by your unit), low water pressure in the shower and sink, no tongs in the kitchen, you might want to bring your own tongs for cooking.

*I strongly recommend this hotel, when you visit the Siesta Key beach. But, I will not visit Siesta Key beach again, very disappoint, water it’s not clear blue or clear green, the only good about the beach is white sand, soft.

The price was reasonable and the room was very clean. Not beach front but walk is very short. The room has everything to make your own meals. The one bedroom was just right for a family of four. I would recommend for families with kids.

Nice property very close to the beach, but not beach front. Front desk staff is excellent. Grounds are kept very clean and the landscaping is very nice. The leaf blower is used daily to keep the place tidy, but they may want to consider doing it later in the day or using something that is less noisy - it is like having the lawn guy at your house every day when you are home.

Pictures are accurate. The apartment is modern with stainless steel appliances, nice modern cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms and overall very clean. No major signs of wear and very nicely maintained. Kitchen is stocked with plates, cuts, utensils, blender, can opener, full stove with full size oven and a compact dish washer. Basically everything you need to cook a nice meal. The water pressure is very low throughout, except for the shower which is excellent and has a great showerhead which you will enjoy. The kitchen faucet is very, very noisy and has very low water pressure.

In terms of the space, keep in mind that they packed two bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus a kitchen and living room in just under 800 square feet, so everything is very compact and does not offer much privacy, even when the bedroom doors are closed. The other issue is how much noise you hear from the floor above. If you expect to sleep late, don't count on it. Ask for the top floor in this low-rise property, else you will be very annoyed by the noise.

In the units where several apartments share the same balcony, it is like a cruise ship. You either have to be sociable or bypass this amenity altogether. If you are into privacy, then you may want to consider the rooms with a private balcony for a bit more money.

As you may have read in the other reviews, some of the beach chairs are in better shape than others, although we never had trouble finding really good chairs. Beach towels are provided in the rooms. As a courtesy to guests, they also provide beach toys for the children which is not very usual and a nice thing.

As for access to the beach, you leave the property and after a couple of minutes of walking you arrive at the beach through a locked gate. The hotel does not have its own private beach, so you have to find space on the sand wherever it is available in between the beach front hotels that all have their own chairs in front of their property for their guests only. The one weird thing was a drainage pipe that runs right into the beach right next to where most hotel guests place their chairs. After a heavy rain all the storm water just washes into the beach. It may be totally okay, but it is unsightly and unpleasant and it is something the city should consider addressing.

In terms of the beach, it lives up to its reputation. Very nice and clean. Sand is powdery white and water is very clear and shallow. Point of Rocks is just steps from the hotel and it is a great snorkeling site for the entire family, regardless of age. Water is shallow and there is lots of marine life. Abundant schools of fish. You can purchase inexpensive snorkeling gear at most stores in the area.

City Pizza is great and just a block away. There is also a convenience store and grocery store close by as well as a few restaurants. If you are a runner, you will enjoy running in the area. No fitness facility at the property which was a disappointment.

Overall the hotel offer a good value for the money in a very clean, safe and family friendly environment - and the beach is the best. Great area of town also. Note: No bar or other food service facility within the property.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms on a top floor. Ask for rooms with private balcony.
