“Magnificent view!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

My wife and I stayed at the property a few weeks back. We were a bit underwhelmed by the area leading to the Resort and had difficulty locating it due to a supposed "no signage" local ordinance. However, once we arrived there was a stark transformation. Our unit was beautifully appointed and had impressive ocean views from every room; without a doubt, the Hyatt Company did not skimp on design, finish or furnishings. This is a well above average resort, beautifully lanscaped, with amenities for a relaxed, pampered stay. In our opinion, the best appointed Hyatt resort property we have visited - with a staff to match.
Please note there is a pool-side restaurant on the premises, not a formal restaurant. However, there are quite a few fine restaurants nearby. We enjoyed our stay and strongly recommend the Resort.

Beautiful room, very clean, very nice staff. Excellent location and accomodations. The beach here is absolutely gorgeous. Very family friendly. Although it is a little bit more expensive than the other hotels in the area, it was worth every penny and we would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: The ocean front rooms are woth the extra cost.

Wow what an experience. Beautiful apartments, high quality furniture, fittings etc. comfortable beds, beautiful linen. Wonderful friendly staff, very helpful. Can't believe we have been coming to Florida for so many years and missed this place.
Had such a wonderful relaxing stay that we have cut short our next stay in Naples and have booked back again in a couple of weeks time before we go back to the UK.
Would highly recommend this place. Already planning our next winter break in 2013 here !!

This is just a really nicely done property. The condo units/rooms are very nicely done, with quality furnishings and fittings. The kitchen and bath were as nice as we'd have in our home. The views are terrific. The pool is small, but very nicely done and landscaped and finished with a natural stone travertine apron. The hot tub has a lovely waterfall over stones.

For the most part, the service here was excellent. By far the best service was from the valet (Ross). Always friendly, always warm, yet always unobtrusive and highly professional. They should make this guy the manager of the place -- he gets the hospitality business.

The only slightly sour note we experienced was the utter unwillingness of the staff to arrange a late checkout. Checkout time here is a very early 10 am. We emailed about it thrice prior to our arrival. We talked about it with the staff thrice once we arrived. Finally, they grudgingly and visibly unhappily and complainingly said we could check out at 11 am.

I'd understand if the place was fully booked. It wasn't. It was actually quite quite slow.

They could build a lot more goodwill with their guests by accomodating things like this (when it's feasible to do so, of course).

But that's just a slight sour note. This is really a very nicely done property. Well above what I was expecting of the Hyatt brand (then again, so is the price well above what one would expect of the Hyatt brand).

The accommodations are wonderfully high end with the best layouts and huge high end kitchen! Felt very much at home with a fabulous view of the Gulf and a white sand beach which you can get to right from the Resort. It was the highlight of my 10 days in Florida as far as the accommodations were concerned. Would have loved screens on the windows and doors so that you could open up without the bugs! With such a high end property, the cleanliness needs an upgrade to "white glove" to make this a place to come and stay for a long time. Wonderful for a quiet and relaxing time and book the ocean view! It's worth every dollar.

Loved the individual Cabana's but again housekeeping wasn't up to the standards of the facility.

Room Tip: Gulf view and floors 4 through 6 will get you above the palm trees for an uninterupted view of the g...

I've never stayed in Siesta Key. I choose this property because it looked relatively new & well kept. I was not disappointed. The two bedroom suite we had included a very high-end kitchen, equipped with a Wolf range & Sub-Zero refrigerator (just to give you the idea). Both bedrooms were spacious and included flat screen TVs. Each room had bathrooms I would consider trying to duplicate in my own home. Finally there was a separate den and bathroom with shower. I would suggest spending the money on the gulf view unless you like looking out over 1960s retro cottages.

Facilities were nice as well. clean heated pool, hot tub and quiet beach right outside. Staff was excellent. Gave excellent dinner recommendations in town. Very accommodating except for my need for late checkout. If you're looking for a place to party this is not the place. Quiet & relaxing. Soft powder sand.
