“pleasant and close”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2013 via mobile

Great food at a fair price. Servers very attentive without being intrusive. Make sure you understand how they apply coupons and discounts. If any person in your party orders a printed special, no other discounts apply AND they add an 18% gratuity to the bill- regardless of party size. We complained about this as full price on the one item, less the early bird discount was cheaper. They did partially adjust for this. And, I would have tipped more anyway.

“Friendly Peruvian Restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

We dined twice at this comfortable, inviting restaurant situated in a non-descript strip mall, enjoying various seafood, poultry and meat dishes. Try the Gorgonzola Shrimp, the pork loin churrasco and the duck leg (pato) with brown rice and beans. The Ceviche Mixto is excellent, as is the Bananas Foster. Avoid the calamari appetizer, which even for one who enjoys garlic simply has much too much garlic to the point of overwhelming the dish. Many small plates are offered. There is a modest, but good wine list, with several wines offered by-the-glass. Service is cordial and very good.

“Nice, but not fantastic.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

Definitely great service, but plastic table cloths were a disappointment and I think the food was also a disappointment after the great reviews we read. it seemed very pre -prepared and kind of bland....but good, although not especially Peruvian. And yes, we would go back and use our coupon this time. We enjoyed chatting with Javier - a really warm and welcoming touch.

“Top notch!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2013

Great food and exceptional service! Fantastic prices too! We stayed for tapas - scallops with Parmesan served in cute little clamshells, and tried their unique calamari - not breaded or fried - delish! Topped it off with a Peruvian merangue dessert that was to die for!
