“Now THIS is special...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2013

We booked in to 43 Degrees spa accommodation for two nights on the strength of reviewer comments on Tripadvisor and they were bang on the money. The apartment is very tastefully appointed and would be ideal for a couple looking for an intimate weekend away. There is something about the ambience of the place that makes you slow right down - which is just what we needed. The complimentary bottle of very nice Tasmanian Pinot on arrival and the basket of breakfast goodies that appeared every morning with its fresh warm croissants were a lovely indulgent touch.

We could not have been happier with the two bedroom apartment, its location and the amenities offered. We visited Bruny after six days of hiking and camping, and 43 Degrees was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. As mentioned in most of the reviews below, the kitchen includes everything you need to prepare your own meals and the breakfast basket was heavenly. We will definitely be back and recommend the place to all our friends. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday!

Recently we stayed in one of the Beachside Spa apartments. The accommodation was wonderful, well equipped and a most comfortable bed ! Unfortunately the weather was not so nice, wet and windy but we were certainly nice and snug in our accommodation. The breakfast was a lovely touch, fresh baked warm bread...yum!
It would have been nice to have a view of the water, but in saying that, it is less than a two minute walk and you are there.
Recommend dinner at Hotel Bruny and make sure you stop at Get Shucked and Bruny Island Cheese.
We will certainly return, may even take the kids !

We had a marvelous stay enjoying the magnificent views of the bay from our luxury 2 bedroom unit. Antarctic winds were blowing yet we were totally cushioned, snug and warm inside this lovely ecological dwelling, not even a rattle or draft! We enjoyed every moment of our stay ,dining on local produce for meals easily self catered in the well equipped kitchen, and magnificent breakfasts with our breakfast basket delivered magically daily with local baked hot fresh bread, croissants, jams and sweet treats. We explored the island and just loved the cruise down the coast to the Southern Ocean. We'd love to go back.

Room Tip: Even though there were only two of us, it was wonderful to have the 2 bedroom unit closer to the coa...

Couldn't of asked for a better location or accommodation for a trip away with the kids. Fabulous two bedroom property that has all the attention to detail that you could want. Beautifully equipped, maintained and serviced. The owners don't miss any of the finer points that make it a great stay, including the hand delivered breakfast basket each morning...views are stunning, highly reccommended.

This is a great building and totally ecologically sound. The buildings are very attractive and the interiors are comfortable and required little heating even though it was 3 degrees outside. We were surprised when we arrived in the afternoon to find that the heating wasn't switched on because the interior was so pleasant. It was a little disappointing that there was no view of Adventure Bay but it is a two minute walk to the waterfront so not too bad at all. The interior fitout was a little odd with a very large bathroom and a quite small sitting area. In summer one would eat on the deck and use the barbeque for meals but in July, when we were there, it was a little too chilly to do this at night. Breakfast was magic with a loaf of warm bread and croissants, local jams and butter delivered to our door by the breakfast fairy. We didn't even hear the delivery and we were there two nights. Kitchens are small but adequate for short (less than a week) stays and tea and coffee are provided. I was a little surprised that bathrobes were not provided as the buildings are very open with lots of glass on both sides. Overall a wonderful couple of days and we would happily return. I'd like to try the two bedroom units next time. They do have a wonderful view.

Room Tip: All the one bedroom units are terrific and much the same.

We can't thank Peter & Ericka enough for our perfect few nights recently. It's cosy and clean and the spa bath just perfect at the end of the day. We enjoyed our breakfast basket each morning too with fresh ciabatta! We fully recommend booking the 3 hour boat cruise through them as well, such a highlight of our time on the island. What are you waiting for....book your getaway at 43 Degrees now!!
