“Nice cafe but a little long in the tooth”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2012

Goombay's has always served good food and is an interesting stop. The down side is the place looks like it's one day away from abandonment and they don't do enough business to hire enough help. Service is pleasant and sloooow.

“Delicious food in a laid back, casual atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012 via mobile

This is one of my favorite places to dine beachside! The food is delicious, the service is friendly and I love laid back vibe of the place! Super casual, great for when you're just getting off the beach but equally as enjoyable of a venue for a birthday dinner or work function ( have also attended both here :)). My favorites are the seafood eggroll, shrimp and crab bisque, any of the tacos ( which are 3 dollars on Thursdays! ) , skewers, coconut rice and peas, crab cakes, tuna salad.... so I guess almost everything! Lol! Easily the best spot in Satellite Beach. They also have live music on Wed. nights, love to wind down there after work to some good tunes with a cold beer :). A great little local's secret I have enjoyed for years! Think you will as well :)

“Good honest quality food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2012 via mobile

Four of us dined here after reading reviews & enjoyed our meals. Two ordered the special grilled Mahi Mahi with a crab cake basically between two Mahi Mahi steaks. The other two enjoyed the salad which was delicious with a good variety of vegetables. We were talked into dessert by the gracious owner who claims to bake the cheesecakes himself :) well done! The pumpkin cheesecake was absolutely delicious and the key lime pie was magnificent. A decent amount of draft beers to chose from and the service was good! Highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back to try the fish tacos!

“Good but overpriced”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Ate here a few weeks and had the fish taco's, they were good but overpriced. I usually eat fish taco's everywhere I go and for the money I will go someplace else, lower the prices or make bigger taco's-not a good value-sorry

“Good food, ultra casual place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012

The food was mostly good; my chicken tacos were delicious and everyone's shrimp and crab bisque was yummy. The mac and cheese wasn't so great. The service was good and everyone was friendly and welcoming on this blustery hurricane Sandy night. The only thing that surprised me was how basic the interior was - I found myself looking for the nicer room to sit in. Casual is great, and funky even better, but somehow this decor just kind of tried a little but not enough to be cool or fun. The outside look promised more.
