It was a nice hotel. Everything I needed, such as, clean room, clean linen, clean bathroom, comfortable bed, etc. All the basics were there.
The one thing that bothered me was the attitude I received when checking in. You know that little check box above the signature line? (If not, check it out next time.) Anyway, I did not want the paper and so by checking that box you are supposed to receive a $0.75 credit on your bill for each day you do not get the paper. Well, I confirmed with them and even the manager came out to confirm the girl's question about it. The manager says that in her 10 years of working there, no one has ever NOT wanted the paper; but I'm entitled to the credit if that's what I want. I told them that I don't even care about the credit because getting paper is a waste for me and for them and I'd rather not have the paper. So they agreed. The next morning I open my door and what do I find? A paper. At the end of my two day stay, I received a paper both days and there is no credit on my bill.
Anyway, I was too irritated about their not listening to my wishes to even confront them about it. They would think my complaint was about the credit when it was really about their not listening to their customer.
If you don't need the paper, try checking that box and see if they listen.
