This was an ok hotel considering the amount we paid. We were on a tour of Florida and went to Sarasota purely for the quality of the beach. The hotel was ok but looks a little tired. The room was clean and the towels changed throughout our stay. Breakfast could have better as there was no juice and only Waffle maker which resulted in a long wait. Overall we were satisfied.

We sincerely appreciate that you took the time to comment and we hope that you enjoyed your tour of Florida. We are happy that you found our hotel to be accommodating but are disappointed that you found our facility to be somewhat tired. Allow us to assure you that there are many upgrades to our facility slated that are being implemented on an expedient basis. We have fixed our juice machine and have a full, hot breakfast that is standard with every stay. We hope to see you again soon!

The fact that the breakfast buffet did not have orange nor apple juice was very disappointing. The juice dispenser was out of order, and the only beverage available was coffee. There was no one in the area or attending that could have find solution to my need or serve me better.

Our juice machines were broken for a time but I assure you that they have been fixed and we now have a trained breakfast attendant who is equipped to offer our guests a positive breakfast experience. Start with the price I guess the adage you get what you pay for applies here. The price was reasonable but from there carpet old the room was dirty around the edges. Moved the nightstand to plug something in and found dirt and paper under the stand. We had two rooms had to move from one because of a minor bug problem. The breakfast area was clean but many of the chairs are heavily stained and dirty, they really need to be replace or at the least steam cleaned.The people at the hotel were very nice and accommodating. Second floor hallway had a very stale smell to it.

As we have assumed ownership of our property from another organization only recently, there are some updates to our facilities that indeed need to be implemented. Our family stayed at this hotel due to its location and price. It was considerably less than the surrounding area hotels. Consequently, this review is based on the relative cost. Generally, speaking the hotel is a 2-star hotel based on its condition and amenities. I gave it a three star rating based on the room rate we paid relative to what was received. At the time we were traveling, there was a deal about the third night being significant reduced, if not free. I cannot recall the exact details of the discount, but it was significant enough to sway our decision to stay here.

The room came with two queen beds which is always a plus when traveling with family. The room was also equipped with a small refrigerator and microwave. We have found these two appliances very helpful on extended stays. The room was clean with no discernible defects. Also, in our situation it is beneficial when the sink is separated from the shower area. The room has the look and feel of the 1970's. But again, this is a bargain choice. The only time we spent in the room was for sleeping.

The room was located on the third floor and was very quiet. No hint of smoke or smokey hallwalls. We were fortunate the room was located midway down the corridor and was directly next to the wi-fi booster. Our kids with their ipads and such had no issues with connectivity.

The breakfast was simple and nothing exceptional. It basically consisted of bagels, cereals, yogurt, and bananas. This hotel provided the services we needed at a fraction of the cost nearby hotels were asking.

Our reservation called for NS room. Did not have one....room was pretty smelly even for a past smoker.

Thank you for your feedback. We do our best to accommodate the needs of our guests. We are a hotel that offers both smoking and non-smoking rooms. When our guests reserve directly with our hotel we can guarantee that their needs will be met by members of our staff. It is regrettable that we sometimes receive third-party reservations from internet providers that do not relate all of our guests needs to our staff. In those unfortunate cases, that we wish were in our control, we sometimes find ourselves unable to accommodate the needs of our non-smokers. It is our recommendation to book directly with our hotel so that we can be assured and accountable of your comfort and quality.

The rooms were very dirty, water leaked in bath tub constantly, carpets were so dirty could not step on floor without shoes on. They gave us a room with no hot water, they had to change our room. beds are very old and hard and uncomfortable. I had little tiny bugs in my sink every morning. I felt very uncomfortable there, but had already paid and had no choice but stay there. We should of checked the rooms first, I have stayed at many Days Inn, this is the first discusting one I ever stayed in. The only nice thing I can say is the help were very nice and friendly especially a lady named Joyce at front desk.

I want to apologize that your stay was a disappointing one. We pride ourselves on extending the best quality of service to all of our guests and ensuring that they have a most enjoyable stay. The reason for hot water was major plumbing maintenance work was going on that day & we informed all guest about not getting hot water for three hours. We will certainly look into the other inconveniences you experienced and take corrective measures to make sure such lapses do not repeat themselves.
