The rooms were very clean. The original room we booked, the AC was not working properly, but Carrie, Project Manager, did not hestitate to move us to a larger room with better AC,. The twin/king bed was very uncomfortable, if you would invest in a descent pillow top or mattress pad it would be FANTASTIC.

What definately made it all worth it was Carrie. She was fantastic, kept the grounds very nice and neat and was extremely helpful with all our needs.

Would consider coming back if the beds were more comfortable.

We thought the rooms were fairly clean and the mgt and hotel staff were very accomodating. We would recommend that new twin(made up to be a king size) bd in rm 11 be considered since these were uncomfortable as was the pull out queen bed sofa. By offering better beds, this room would be a real charm. Thanks.

We made a reservation for a return visit here because we had a pleasant experience the year prior. Although not a disaster it was a less pleasant experience this year. The room was large and reasonably clean. BUT the lighting in the room was very inadequate - no light at all on one side of king bed - dim and cold (maybe it the new bulbs), there was no soap of any kind in the bathroom, there was no hairdryer, there was the last visitors garbage outside the back door, we had difficulty logging onto the wi-fi - there was only one channel which worked and that disappeared after we used it once.
I know you can't expect above average service or amenities for below average price but it is not too much too expect the basics. The kitchen was well supplied and location to beach is great. The lack of adequate lighting was the most annoying of the defficiences. Glad we brought our own soap.

We have traveled to Lido Beach four times and have stayed here twice so far. We stayed at the larger, Gulf-front, chain hotel and paid twice as much and the room/hotel were not worth paying double the rate. We also stayed in a guest room at a neighboring property and it was awful (extremely noisy) one phone call to Beau Lido and they got us in and the vacation was saved!!

They have a very pollite and accommodating staff. Guest rooms are dated but they are very clean, air conditioned and having a kitchennete is a huge plus. Its only 1/2 block from an incredible beach and very short walking distance to St. Armonds. If you are a budget minded traveler Beau Lido is a must. We hope to continue staying here in the future.
