“Nice place to stay late at night.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2012

We were traveling through with no room. We stopped to eat in siesta beach, headed south. The resturant owner gave us the name. Clean neat and cute with kitchenette. Nice quiet place. Don't be afraid.

Room Tip: We got the last room a king suite...#224 it was nice

May 17 – 21, 2012- Sarasota, Florida.

The Hibiscus Suites Inn was excellent- "Our time was filled with nice sunsets, cool drinks and beautiful beaches."

This was my first time staying at the Hibiscus Suites Inn and everyone in my family was very impressed. All the amenities we needed were in the room, including a refrigerator, air conditioning, Wi-Fi Internet access, and silverware, drinking glasses, dishes, etc. The suite we stayed in was tastefully decorated and the couches were sooo comfortable - you just melted in them. There were even 2 -TV's in the living room and in the bedroom. There was even a nice desk to sit at and read or write and plenty of drawer and closet space.

Another thing I really liked about the Hibiscus Inn was that the walls are built solid and sturdy.
I could not hear any noise from my neighbors and they could not hear us. I slept like a baby on a very comfortable bed. The sofa's are so comfortable you can fall asleep just sitting on them!

All the people at the hotel were so nice and accomodating to all our needs. We had a nice breakfast every morning and they even kept the breakfast open so that we could eat breakfast anytime (even if we woke up later). There is also a heated pool that was fabulous. I have a dog and I was so happy that the Habiscus is a pet friendly hotel. This hotel is within walking distance to a mall that has anything you want. I wanted to get my hair done and I found two hair places within walking distance to the hotel. The hotel is close to Siesta Key Beach.

Since I am not from Florida, it was so nice that the hotel lobby had brochures on where to go for bicycle riding, kayaking and scooter rental in the Siesta Key area. The lady behind the desk was more than happy to help with anything our group asked for to make sure our stay was wonderful.

I would highly recommend this beautiful Inn to anyone and I cannot wait to return

The hotel staff was superb. The rooms were wonderful. The pool was nice. I would definately stay at the Hibiscus again. The proximity to Siesta key was an added bonus.

This was the second time we have stayed at Hibiscus Suites Inn. The first experience was a wonderful time. We had the two bedroom suite and it was huge and lovely. No complaints at that time. This time was a little different. When we made our reservation, the woman that took our reservation was quite nice and very friendly. She even said that even though check in wasn't until 3 p.m., we could call around noon and we should be able to get into room around then or at least by 1230 to 1. So we arrived in town about noon and stopped in, but the woman at the desk stated that check in was not until 3. Anyway...we did get checked in at 230. The first thing we noticed in our 1 bedroom suite was the floor in the kitchen was all sticky by the sink. I mopped that up with some papertowels. The bedspread had a big stain on it...not quite sure what that was..We then went and spent time at the pool. That was wonderfully refreshing. Then we came back to the room and took a shower. The drain was all plugged up so you stook in ankle deep water while showering. It took about 1/2 hr to go down. The air conditioner rattled a bit all night long. The couch in the room was very uncomfortable and had no arms. There was one little chair in the livingroom, but that had no arms either and was quite uncomfortable. This room was not at all as comfortable as the 2 bedroom we stayed at two years ago. We did complain to the front desk at check out, but nothing much was said. Just that they would fix the drain in the tub. All in all, this is a nice place to stay at, but check over room first, then complain right away.

This is really a pretty nice hotel IF you get a renovated room. We had one but our friends did not so our impressions are very different. But they are working on renovating them all. The kitchenette was very nice; flat screen TVs in both the living room and bedroom. Having two bathroom sinks was nice. Downers on the bathroom were the slightly rocky toilet and missing enamel in the tub. Otherwise the place was very clean and leather furniture nice. At night it was very dark and quiet. Staff friendly, breakfast adequate. (They could add some fruit and hot chocolate.) Pillows hard so bring your own. Bed comfortable.
It's right before you cross the bridge to go to Siesta Key so is very handy. I'd stay again as long as we got a renovated room.

Room Tip: If rooms 104, 105 are renovated, get those or any on that side. Just a little bit quieter as they do...

Wonderful little inn 7 minutes away from the beach. The staff was very helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The pool area was well maintained and even had a grill. The breakfast was a litttle small but enjoyable. I will be visiting here again!!

Room Tip: Room 103 had a bit of a better set up. I will request that when we return.
