We live at Starbucks. All over. I think we've been to almost all of them in Bradenton/Sarasota. We love that this location is close to home (not closest but not far), and open 24 hrs so we can stop after dinner at 10-11 pm. The place is packed with regulars who are there all the time, which is kind of comforting in the sense of community, but sometimes makes us feel a bit weird. Its almost like we are impeding on their territory, but not in a threatening way. Cannot explain it! Only once the coffee tasted off, and we were in the car by the time we noticed. Every other time the drinks are great, food great and service is usually great. There is one barista who is always on register, never making drinks when we've gone who is very impersonable and almost rude to everyone it seems that he doesn't know (including us). We are always nice and I have never experienced anyone at any Starbucks so blunt and unfriendly. They do not wear nametags so I don't know his name, but we think twice about going in when we see him. All I know is he has dark hair, average height, bigger build, never smiling. Can't believe he still has a job there. I have heard other people comment on this also, which is why I only gave this location "average" rating. The other employees are great. At least try to fake a smile!!!
