“Good food is all...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013

We are locals and love mexican food. This restaurant is the only mexican restaurant in the area so we had to try it. The food is good. We've tried the shrimp tacos, enchiladas, tex mex chili dog and a few others. The service is not very great. The wait staff and bartenders are inexperienced and take forever to get your order even if there are only 2 tables. The first time I went I had a good classic margarita, the second time I had a syrupy stawberry margarita. It was supposed to be on the rocks. Not so great...But we will return because it is close to home and the food is good. Maybe more take-out than dining in due to the service.

“Fun time in new restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013

We went with our daughters Sat. night to a great new find... Dino, the owner graciously ushered us into his new restaurant.. Our waitress Bianca, was a delight... such a wonderful girl from UK.. We started with the $3 margaritas which were awesome.. add in some homemade guacamole and chips, some great latin music and we had a party! The food was wonderful.. we sampled the tamales, burritos, quesadillas, shrimp tacos and the adventuresome in our group tried the delicious soup.
We were stuffed but ended up sharing the fried cheesecake tortilla with chocolate that Bianca said was great. and it was.. back to the diet! We will be back often.. there are a lot of great Mexican restaurants in town but this new one is fun, very inexpensive... $2.99 shrimp taco!!!!! and should be a favorite for families and foodies too!

“Won't be back”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

We really enjoy trying new local places (and love Mexican food). So, a couple of us decided to hit up The Grasshoppper for a few margaritas and some food. To be fair, we visited on Cinco de Mayo and the place was busy, but I wouldn't say packed.

Bartender was in a panic and in that panic never even put tequila in our margaritas. Triple sec and crappy sour mix do not make a good drink. We were given complimentary salsa, chips and cheese(?). The reason I say cheese(?) is that it had the distinct color of mustard and was a gelatenous, goopy, flavorless mess. Awful. Ordered a single taco (I've had better at fast food places).
