This was our first visit to Cafe Baci and it was great from start to finish. The ambiance is relaxed and warm. Since it was Valentines Day, the room was completely filled but we felt no loss of privacy--couldn't overhear the conversations of the couples at the tables next to us, for example. The food was delicious. I'd describe it as traditional fine Italian. We began with a complimentary antipasti plate--a nice selection of cured meats and olives. I had the harvest salad and my husband had the Caesar--both with fresh ingredients and not drowned in dressing as sometimes happens. Entrees were veal piccata and shrimp scampi--again, both fresh and delicious. The sauces on both were flavorful and light. Our server Teresa was outstanding--charming, knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive. Prices are fair--our meal was under $100 with wine. A suggestion I'd offer is that it would be nice to have some music playing in the background, but that's a minor point. We'll definitely go back. Highly recommend.
