Mediterraneo's extensive offerings cover both northern and southern italian cuisine. The most difficult aspect of this large, modern style Italian restaurant is deciding what to select. The two of us ended up ordering three appetizers (sauteed calamari, bresaola with arugula and shaved parmesan, and eggplant with goat cheese) and two entrees (cappellini primavera and bucatini with braised lamb). We enjoyed every morsel. The wine list, not surprisingly, is heavily weighted to wines from Italy, with offerings from nearly every region, many at very reasonable prices. Service was very good. This restaurant compares favorably with many we have dined at in NYC and Boston. We shall return.
