When Bob's Boat House restaurant was still open, it held the undisputed title for worst food. Now that's it has (mercifully) been replaced with condos, Phillipi Creek may have taken the mantle. Even tourists from the midwest who've never seen an actual fish will recoil in horror at what Phillip Creek can do to both fish and shellfish. There are some excellent restaurants in Sarasota. My advice is to go to one of them and leave this horror for the utterly clueless.
The service was good. The food was phenomenal! I had stuffed grouper. It was so delicious that I wanted to go back another night, but we were out of time. There's also a cute souvenir shop next door that I loved!
