Being stuck at the Southgate Mall by a severe thunderstorm, lunch was chosen at this location instead of walking elsewhere. Like many another local restaurant, this is another owned by British ex-patriates. Opted for a Chicago Panini, which contained ham, provolone cheese, grilled onion, pepper and a very mild sauerkraut. This sandwich was so good, it did not required any condiments.
It appeared that many of the customers were recognized by the owners, which always bodes well, as repeat patronage is the engine which keeps businesses such as these in operation. Cannot vouch as of now for breakfast but the menu looked intriguing as well.
Service was very good and the owners made sure the diners lacked for nothing. This merits a breakfast try out as well.
Pricing is about average for Sarasota for lunch or breakfast- $10-12 per person, including drinks.
