Can't explain why it has taken so long to try "The Table" at its new location. The atmosphere is cool with an understated elegance. We were seated at a high top table for two along the expansive windows overlooking the creek, a very pretty setting to enjoy a nice meal. We ordered a Pouilly-Fuisse off the extensive wine list. For starters, the Foie Gras was served with an interesting fruit sauce. My husband had the Ahi Tuna Sashimi with mirin soy sauce. He characterized it as a wonderful blend of flavors. As an entrée, the scallops were grilled and accompanied by an interesting combination of sauces. We shared a carrot cake for dessert but unfortunately it was mediocre at best. We should have followed our waiters advice by ordering the egg-nog mouse, but we were reluctant because it sounded like a leftover from New Year's Eve. However, we plan to return and look forward to trying the Sunday Brunch the next time we have out of town guests.
