“Ate here for a breakfast and a lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

Food was very good. Service pleasant and fast. Smallish restaurant but a nice menu. We were staying at the Hyatt and this was across the street. The hotel restaurant was good but this was a nice change. There can be a line if you catch it around noon. stays busy all morning. Tricky parking lot to get in and out of. Had to go around the block to pull into it. Great omlets and some fresh seafood.

“Great breakfast option”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

We were referred by the staff at the Hyatt and ate breakfast every day. He menu has a great variety. We are oatmeal people and the oatmeal was cooked - not instant and a bowl was very large. The side of fruit was a nice mix of melon and berries. Maybe the best coffeewe've ever had in Florida, strong but not bitter and HOT. What a treat. Not diner cheap but a fair price. Eggs and pancake dishes looked large and well priced.

“Good coffee and food for breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

I would have given them 5 stars except for the crummy home fries, I think they came out of a bag and went in the deep fryer.

“Excellent Meal @ Great Price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2013

Meet friends for a late breakfast or Saturday morning and found he place packed. 15 minutes later we were seated outside basking in the spring sunshine. Service was efficient and the three meals beautifully prepared and rather quickly prepared. All of us enjoyed our meals. The restaurant has little parking and although they recommend street parking I was ticketed by the Sarasota Police for illegally parking in the wrong direction on a very crowded side street adjacent to the restaurant while three cars with Florida license plates, I had a retired Virginia Army license plase, were parked in the same direction as I and were not ticketed. The ticket cost as much as all three meals. The restaurant needs to become friends with the Chamber of Commerce to get the police off there customers backs. Still enjoyed the food and atmosphere of the restaurant
