“Beautiful place, neat animals, but pricey.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2014

Went in october so it wasnt crowded. We had our 3 kids with us ages 3months-7years and my husbands grandparents. We saw the bird show and my oldest got to volunteer in the show and take a picture with a 70 year old white bird. We walked the grounds which was on the small side but perfect for our group. The koi pond was neat and the flamingos and the reptiles. The landscaping is beautiful too. It was a fun day for everyone. But it was more expensive to get in than other places we had visited on our trip.

“Outstanding fun especially for preschool”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2014

My wife and I took our daughter, son-in-law, and 3 year old granddaughter to Jungle Gardens during our vacation this February. We found the staff outstandingly pleasant and helpful. The attractions were great and we especially enjoyed feeding the free roaming flamingos by hand. That was a thrill for my granddaughter and the rest of us. They also let you to take pictures holding a large tropical bird of your choice on your arm. The playground was a nice break for the 3 year old to release some physical energy between attractions. The bird shows were fun and amazing to see one bird that was on Ed Sullivan show when I was young! Overall we completely enjoyed our time. The staff seem to enjoy what they are doing.

“Small but pretty, Flamingos a must..”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2014

This little Gardens is hidden away in Sarasota, it contains a small variety of birds and animals but is great for the kids, Get to see the bird show and feed the flamingos. An easy hour or two in the sunshine, just up the road from Ringling Museum and house, within easy driving distance of downtown.

“Family day out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2014

It's Always fun to see the parrot show. This park is really for family with children. So much things to learn about animals. I love the flamingos, never been so close before. The location is easy to find. When you drive on the Bay Shore Road, you can see the sign of Jungle Gardens on the side of the road.

“Loved the flamingos!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2014

My in-laws took us here one day while were down visiting them and it was a great place to visit. My favorite part was feeding the flamingos. The kids had a great time. Very relaxing to walk around at a slow pace and view the exhibits. We watched one of their shows and that too was interesting.
