A tiny restaurant on Main Street is the worst-kept secret in town. Pho Cali is a Vietnamese/Asian restaurant with a large menu. The menu seems to have been updated, with more information on each dish, which is helpful. Prices are reasonable (although they may have gone up in the new menu), food portions are generous. The fresh rolls are particularly tasty, filled with vermicelli and mint leaves, along with the filling (pork, shrimp, etc.) of your choice and served with a peanut sauce. I usually enjoy the noodle bowls, a room temperature salad-type dish with rice noodles, shredded cucumber and carrots, bean sprouts, lettuce, your choice of protein, and an awesome "house sauce." I don't believe they take reservations and long lines are common, but service is quick and the wait shouldn't be terrible. A Sarasota favorite!
