If you wish some authentic German cooking, then go to a good German restaurant. We took the half hour trip to Heinrich's based on a neighbor's personal experience. With a background of German parents and having done business in Germany over the years, you cannot fool us when it comes to the 'real thing' in German food. We were there on a Tuesday evening at 5pm when it opened so Andreas, the proprietor, had time to give us a warm welcome and introduce himself to us. Even though the restaurant is in a shopping center, after entering, it has a German feel, with a large 'Stamtisch' to handle a group, a handsome bar and quaint tables for a personal experience. The service was excellent. We chose the Schweinehaxen and Rouladen dishes for dinners. Both were excellent! We also were able to eye the Wurst and Schnitzel dishes as they passed our table to other diners.. While it is a bit pricey, we definitely will go back for a nice repeat experience. The place filled up quickly and we were advised that on weekends, reservations should be made.
