It is such a beautiful and relaxing get a way...the beach is white sand and crystal clear blue water. There are so many delicious restaurants along hwy 30A. It is family oriented or it's fun for a night out on the town for adults. You can walk or bike to most places. There is a lot of culture and shopping. You just feel so good when you are here. I think it is still not known to most people around the world.

Santa Rosa Beach is a great pllace to vacation. We always choose the Beaches of South Walton over Destin because the beach isn't near as crowded. Speaking of beaches, these are some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. There are mnay excellent restaurants on or around Santa Rosa Beach. The restaurants range from casual to very upscale. I highly recommend Santa Rosa or any of the beaches along 30-A.

We have traditionally vacationed in the Ft Walton/Destin area of Florida. The beaches here are among the most beautiful you will find. However, this area has gotten very congested. Last year we moved down the coast a little and stayed in Santa Rosa Beach. It's much quieter. There is also a bike path for miles. We could walk or ride our bikes to restaraunts. We rented bikes and rode to Sea Side. It's about 7 miles from Santa Rosa Beach. We rented a house off of VRBO (vacation rentals by owner). We found the entire vacation to be fabulous and relaxing. We are going again this year!
