“food looked and smelled good”

we just don't know how it taste... when you walk in you put in your order, pay and then take a seat...after waiting an hour for our food we went to ask and found the entire staff taking a break as they said they were finished with breakfast..."so sorry, must have lost your ticket" They did refund our money and didn't charge us for the 2 cups of coffee or the lemonade; but still...

“Quaint cafe with stellar food/healthy options”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2012

Finally, some healthy choices at the beach! Everything we've had is awesome, whether it's breakfast or lunch. Sunday brunch is served in the Backyard of Love with a side of local talent. Great mood music and mimosas to go along with the best flavors you'll ever find on a plate! Some faves are any of Colin's famous quiches and fritattas (always served with fresh fruit and nuts), his pulled pork and potato hash, and his cinnamon roll French toast...words can't even describe how good it all is! For lunch, we love the yummy quinoa wraps, the tuna sammie or any of the great salads. One of the most fun things about Cafe Hibiscus is reading the "specials" board and trying to decide which one of Colin's creations you'll try today!! Cafe Hibiscus is our dream restaurant on 30A!!

“Calm and quiet.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2012

Just back from Memorial Day weekend and friends suggested the Hibiscus Cafe. Our sign out front said, "Be Pure". Nice and quiet, sat out back. The Cinnamon Sweet Roll French toast...........are you kidding me?! We are going to try to make it at home. I got a quiche and it was great too, but the french toast.........off the hook. Everything fresh, all good. You will not be disappointed.

“French Toast from Heaven..in a great setting!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2012

We came for breakfast (everyone is welcome, even if you are not lucky enough to be staying at their B and B), and I had the best French Toast known to man. This is such an eclectic, enjoyable, and relaxing setting for your breakfast. We chose to sit in the Backyard of Love, shared it with two nice cats, and enjoyed the morning music of birds chirping and a gentle breeze through the leaves..nothing else needed! Very nice waitstaff who will help you decide from their many wonderful items, coffees and teas available. My husband had a very good fritatta, but we both agreed that next time we visit, we will Both be getting the cinnamon roll French toast..if he hopes to get more than one bite, this is truly his Only option!
Go for the food, stay for the wonderful ambience and people!

Which french toast did you get? That certainly is becoming a signature item. We are thrilled you enjoyed it.
Next time, come and stay, and get the Waffle Wonderful or Fritatta of the Day. Thank you.
