We have been having Easter dinner at Beachview for the last three years. Usually, we are a big party - this year, we were 13 with children. Someone in our party had made the reservation a week or so in advance, however when we all arrived, we learned that somehow the reservation had been canceled. This could have been the worst situation, if not for the the dining room manager who calmly leaped into action, apparently recognizing us from years past. In a matter of moments, we were seated - all 13 of us - and the place was packed! Our server, Tommy was there in seconds to take drink orders - we needed separate checks (3 in all), which I normally do not like to do to the wait staff - especially this time as we were not all sitting close to each other - my wife and I across from each other, my son at one end of the table, my daughter and mother-in-law at the other end, on opposite sides - all on one check - chaos in the making! No worries for Tommy, he handled it perfectly, nailing every drink, appetizer, entree and dessert to perfection. Not a single check was incorrect. My son ordered pasta with butter - no cheese ( a culinarian - he is not). I thought for sure this pasta was coming out of the kitchen with cheese - and parsley - gasp! Nope, pasta with nothing but butter arrived much to my son's pleasure. It is hard enough to wait on a table with 13, let alone separate checks and special orders. Tommy, you deserve high praise - I just hope we tipped you enough! Oh and did I mention the food was fantastic! Our compliments to the kitchen (you are often unfairly overlooked), the management, and to the wait staff - we will be back for sure!

My sisters and I wanted to give Dad, Mom and our aunt a nice dinner out for Dad's 70th birthday. The challenge was that we were in Massachusetts and they were in Ft. Myers! I called Beachview and arranged a gift certificate, which they provided easily and with great support. I then emailed the web-site with directions to Mom and she arranged an early reservation.

I called tonight and they loved the food and setting-- and look forward to returning. Dad and Auntie loved their livers and onions, and Mom enjoyed her grouper. All said the atmosphere was great, not formal, but comfortable. They all were tantalized by the extensive menu and plan to return to work their way through it. I was impressed by the hospitality offered by John to make this evening a great one for Dad's 70th.

'we had the best crabcakes ever here. My husband was crazy for his liver and onions. No one in our group had steak, and that's what this place is known for, so we apologize we can't comment on it. The waitress was adorable, her name was Mandy.

This place is a mystery, the food is good but in three visits in two years the temperature inside the dining room was intolerably hot...... I wont go back. On my last visit this past July, a party of 25 near our table was also complaining of the heat. We ran into a few of them who went outside to cool off.

Its a shame because the dining room is nice , the service is good & the food is good, though pricey. No one wants to eat a $30 filet & a $80 bottle of wine in a dining room thats 85 degrees. I've asked re the heat ..... at each of my three visits & they tell you that the a/c is "controlled".... whatever that means.

I sent the management an email inquiring ,but they did not care enough to respond.
