We ate dinner here at the end of a week long vacation on the island, having generally ate small cheaper meals or cooking in the hotel room. It's not a cheap meal by any means, but you get what you pay for. Everything came out promptly, the server was very friendly, and the courses were very well presented. The pork was outstanding.

We ate out on the porch for sunset. Ideal spot for an anniversary dinner. The inside looked well decorated, also. We'll come back the next time we're on Sanibel!

Quaint atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Average, but adequate selection of wines, most by the glass as well as bottle. Hard to select from several very good-sounding items on menu. Appetizers and dessert courses were served quickly, but there was unfortunate delay in serving the entrees. When they did come, they were hot, very nicely presented, very creative in the combination of ingredients, and incredibly good-tasting. We'd go again. Highly recommend the black grouper (and the pies!).

Our threesome stopped at Sunset Grill on a bike trip in Jan '08--three separate lunches, one of them vegetarian. The food was great and service excellent. After a walk on the beach (across the street and down a bit), we came back for pie, again 3 different kinds. They were to die for, especially the Brandy Chocolate Pecan.

My husband and I ate lunch here just a few days ago, when on Sanibel. It was just mediocre at best, in our opinion. The menu was quite small. The food was presented in a nice fashion, but didn't taste very impressive.
